Welcome to our class Blog!
The many teachers and students in Ohio are now in a new time. We have never had to cancel school for weeks before. Of course we have Snow Days once in awhile, but this is completely different. I am just as new at this as you are so we will work together to make the best of our situation. Please know that I am planning some interesting activities and I have even started a YouTube channel to help with teaching. You will need to visit two places each school day to make sure that you are up to date: 1) This blog 2) Your Google Classroom
Now I know that you have 2 different Google Classrooms, one for math and one for science. Please visit both each day. That is where you will find assignments and important links. This blog will be where we will share ideas and try and have a little fun. I will leave the comment section open so that we can talk to each other. This isn't a place to just "chat" like in phone texts though. It will be used as a way to check in and share our thoughts. We will figure out what works best as we go along.
The school will be open on Monday from 9 am until 7 pm if you want to come over and get some books and paper copies of your Blizzard Bags. I am sending home your Stepping Stones workbooks on Monday also. We will be using those during Week Two. If you can't make it to Pickaway on Monday, let me know and I will make arrangements to get your stuff to you this week.
For Week One you assignment is to complete Blizzard Bags #1, #2, and #3. I also want you to check this Blog and your Google Classroom on Tuesday so that I know who has access and get things ready for next week. There will be a short assignment on Google Classroom to do that I think you will like. Again, if you or your parents have any questions ... e-mail me or send a message on Remind.
